Throwback Cheeseburger Meatballs. A hearty, dog-friendly, meatball that is easy to make using our freeze-dried recipes and other simple ingredients you can find at home. 

This throwback recipe is an ode to when it all started! Grandma Lucy's was established in 1999 and their first freeze-dried recipe were these freeze-dried meatball treats.

Ingredients:

Meatballs:

• 1/2 lb of lean ground beef
• 3/4 cup 3 Bears Beef
• 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
• 1 tsp tomato paste (single-ingredient)
• 1 egg

• 3 tsp of Top It: Beef Stew
• Water (enough to make a gravy consistency)

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. 
2. Place all the ingredients into a medium bowl and mix with spatula or wooden spoon.
3. Set utensil aside and use your hands to thoroughly mix all the ingredients together. 
4. Form into a bite-sized ball shape. Should yield about 13 meatballs. 
5. Place on a lined baking sheet. 
6. Bake in oven for 20-25 mins. 
7. Let cool, top with gravy and serve sparingly to give your pup a delicious treat!
