5 Pet Friendly Treats Sitting in Your Fridge

As pet-parents, we love treating our pups for good behaviors, but what happens when you are fresh out of Starters or Organic Oven Baked Treats? You order more of course!

Since your fur baby will probably be giving you puppy-dog eyes until the new treats arrive, we’ve compiled a list of foods straight from your fridge that are pet friendly!

1. Carrots
Carrots are a great source of beta carotene, a powerful antioxidant, and are rich in fiber. They are also a great way to help keep your dog’s teeth keep clean as they happily munch away.

2. Sweet Potatoes
Just like our freeze-dried Sweet Potato Singles, sweet potatoes are an excellent source of vitamin A, potassium and fiber. Cut them into rounds for your pups to enjoy!

3. Blueberries
Blueberries contain natural antioxidants, support your pet’s immune system, and help prevent urinary tract infections. Feed a few to your pet for an all-natural tasty snack!

4. Apples
Apples are a wonderful way to give your pup vitamin C and potassium, which help maintain a healthy heart. Cut the apples into slices and make sure to get rid of the core and seeds before feeding them to your pup!

5. Bananas
Bananas are high in potassium and magnesium, two nutrients that are essential to heart health. Peel them and cut them into rounds for your pet to enjoy.

Just like any treats, moderation is key when feeding these to your pups. Happy snacking!
