Springtime Carrot Pup-Cake Recipe
Nothing says springtime like flowers, baby animals- and carrot cake! We whipped up this droolworthy carrot cake recipe just for your pup. This pupcake recipe is perfect to make for Easter, but is also great for your dog’s birthday or any other festive occasion. Featuring hearty 3 Bears plus the classic flavors of cream cheese frosting and fresh carrots, this recipe is sure to have your dog begging for more. Make your dog’s day by treating them to this special dessert!
Cake Ingredients:
- 2 cups of 3 Bears Chicken recipe
- ½ cup of Greek yogurt
- ½ cup of grated carrots
- 1½ cup of goat milk
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
Frosting Ingredients:
- 4 oz cream cheese (softened)
- 1 tablespoon honey
- Lemon Honey Organic Oven-Baked Treats to top
- Natural food coloring or turmeric (optional)
Cake Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit
- Add the 3 Bears, yogurt, grated or shredded carrots, goat milk, honey, and baking soda to a large bowl
- Stir until ingredients are thoroughly combined
- Spoon mixture into a prepared cupcake pan and fill 2/3 of the way
- Bake for about 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Insert a knife or toothpick into the middle of the pupcake and if it comes out clean, the pupcake is done.
Frosting Directions:
- Allow cream cheese to soften at room temperature
- Beat cream cheese and honey for about 5 minutes, until it has a whipped consistency
- Add a few drops of natural food coloring or a pinch of turmeric to color frosting (optional)
- Top cooled cupcakes with frosting
- Finish with a Lemon Honey Organic Oven Baked Treat and serve!
